  • Rusty Quill Gaming launches

    June 2015

    Rusty Quill’s first podcast is a collaborative “actual play” tabletop RPG. With Alexander J Newall as the Games Master, it also stars comedians, improvisers, and writers, playing in an original game world.

  • The Magnus Archives launches

    March 2016

    Rusty Quill’s second podcast, written and created by Jonathan Sims, is a horror anthology. The show, which ran for five seasons, rapidly becomes an international sensation.

  • Outliers launches

    November 2017

    This historic fiction podcast, produced in association with Historic Royal Palaces launches with a selection of stories from award-winning contemporary writers examining non-mainstream historical narratives.

  • Stellar Firma launches

    February 2019

    This long form, semi-improvised, dystopic, sci-fi, comedy podcast about planet designers launches.

  • Enthusigasm launches, exclusively on Patreon

    October 2020

    Rusty Quill’s first talk-show podcast, featuring cast, crew and guests talking about their favourite media, hobbies and more.

  • Inexplicables launches

    April 2021

    A six-part, multicast dark comedy about a community of vampires, werewolves, zombies and more. Originally released as a Patreon exclusive, you can now listen to Inexplicables on the Neon Inkwell podcast feed.

  • Rusty Quill launches the RQ Network

    May 2021

    A podcast network by podcasters, for podcasters, offering distribution, marketing and advertising. RQ Network champions the best in audio drama podcasting with this first wave of shows.

  • Enthusigasm launches publicly

    October 2021

    After its success on Patreon, Enthusigasm launches on public feeds.

  • Chapter and Multiverse launches

    April 2022

    An actual play podcast, using multiple gaming systems to explore the city of Chapter.

  • Trice Forgotten launches

    July 2022

    A multicast, historical nautical adventure podcast, following the Captain and crew of a merchant vessel. Trice Forgotten tells the story of gender non-conforming scientists of colour and celebrates the achievements of those continually forgotten by history.

  • Kickstarter for The Magnus Protocol launches

    November 2022

    Rusty Quill launches a record-breaking Kickstarter campaign to fund The Magnus Protocol. Fully funded within a few seconds, The Magnus Protocol is the most successful podcast Kickstarter of all time.

    June 2023

    A comedy of errors set in Ancient Rome, written and created by David K. Barnes.

    September 2023
